Meet Andre one of our financial advisers here at Rapson. Andre is a passionate individual with a multifaceted background.
Growing up between the Bay of Plenty and Christchurch, he is a keen rugby league player and a true Warrior’s fanatic. In addition to sports, Andre is an avid traveler and loves experiencing new cuisines and cultures.
With a diverse work history, Andre initially ventured into the mining industry, where he travelled the world and made good money. This was followed by a decade in the construction industry where he transitioned from wielding a hammer to selling building supplies.
His journey then took a turn towards financial advising, and for the past year and a half, he has been guiding others on their financial paths.
Andre’s interest in property has led him to start a property page and TikTok, where he shares regular insights from his property investment journey and showcases his enthusiasm for real estate.
What he appreciates most about working at Rapson is the great team environment and good banter with the rest of the team.
As for words of wisdom, Andre advises his clients and first-home buyers to “look at 100 open homes before making a decision.” “Set your criteria and budget parameters and try not to let emotion get in the way of your decision. There are plenty of opportunities out there so don’t rush into anything and make sure you speak to people who invest and buy property themselves first.”
